The nineteen-year exotic beauty, who changed her surname from Johal, made a stunning performance at the Burberry catwalk last year at London Fashion Week. The youngster is brimming with nothing but confidence and poise, Neelam proves that fashion can reach all different ethnicities. Fashion shouldn’t be about being one skin tone.
Being an Indian girl myself, it fills me with great happiness seeing that Burberry are a company that embrace diversity. I am filled with joy that Neelam has been hired. It shows that being British doesn’t necessary mean being white, and Burberry embrace that. Clearly.
